The idea of pay back and revenge is knit into the flesh and fabric of society and the news media and entertainment industry know how to capitalize on it. Yet Jesus teaches us to do things another way. Instead of trying to get pay back from wrongs done to us by others and speak evil about them, He declares in Mathew For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Ephesians Meaning of Our Struggle is not Against Flesh and Blood – ConnectUS
Jesus teaches us to forgive, to love, to overlook a wrong doing. HE understands that what is motivating people is birthed from the unseen realm. The realm of the spirit. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Therefore, you have to defeat that spirit by standing in faith and obeying the commandment of love.
Take authority over it in prayer. Pray with compassion for the person that spirit is manifesting through because they are being used. The spirit operates initially through the thought life. Instead, they continue to meditate on the thought until it becomes an emotion, then it is verbalized and finally acted upon. Once we realize that not every thought is our own, we can then exercise more power and authority over them.
Many thoughts come from the Holy Spirit while others come from the enemy. If it does not, then we are to cast it down. Just imagine if every believer you know obeyed the commandment of love and the commandment to treat others the way they want to be treated! We would have instantaneous unity in the church. All strife and division would be defeated. Therefore, you choose to walk in love regardless of what others are doing around you. Love never fails. When you walk in love there will be no occasion of stumbling in you and you will never fail!
Faith works by love. Therefore, when you walk in love and choose love thoughts, then you will never fail and your Faith will always work!

For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Recompense to no man evil for evil.
We Wrestle not against Flesh and Blood but against Satan the god of this World System
You cannot partake the table of the Lord and the table of demons. Demonic Oppression - Satan moved evil men to murder Job's servants, he brought a wind to murder Job's children and he inflicted Job with painful sores all over his body.
Satan asked Jesus to sift Peter like wheat. An evil spirit was sent to harass King Saul and even the Apostle Paul had " a thorn in the flesh , a messenger of Satan" to keep him humble and rely on God's sufficient grace 2 Corinthians This oppression is where demons frustrate your circumstances, seek to lead you to despair, slander and persecute you. Remember they can only go as far as God permits and His grace is sufficient! Demonic Possession - Jesus' encounter in Mark 5 highlights key marks of possession.
The great depravity of demons is seen in their possessing human bodies to torment and mock the incarnation of Christ who is God in the flesh. Christians are indwelt with the Holy Spirit and cannot be possessed.
You have the power of the Holy Spirit in you and where He is they cannot stand against. Jesus said, " it is by the power of the Holy Spirit that I cast out demons" Matthew As Christians we are not to fear. You are to put on the whole armor of God and stand against evil with the truth of God's word and prayer. Jesus sent out 72 of disciples two by two to witness.
They returned with joy saying, " Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name! I saw Satan fall like lightening from heaven.
Behold I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven Luke Leave a Comment Comments for this post have been disabled.
